Caliborn72
I’m hoping the Denver Nuggets get their playoff monkey off their back this year starting tonight. Quote Link to comment

Nuggets haven't been very good since firing a coach after he finished 3rd in the Conference and was named Coach of the Year. Good move. 1 Quote Link to comment

Good move. Can’t argue against that. There have been some bleak years since then and we were very fortunate to luck into Nikola Jokic. They should be pretty solid this year as long as they stay relatively healthy. Quote Link to comment
The Murphinator
First time anyone has put up a stat line like this since Wilt Chamberlin in 1967. Don't sleep on Jokic. 3 Quote Link to comment

admo
So the little dallas mavs won tonight, taking 50 three pointers and 48 shots of the normal two point variety. It may have been Houston who started this the past few seasons, but the league is catching on. Meaning, it's all about layups and 3 pointers with little mid range stuff. Great for fans and the NBA imo (lots of points, finally). The triangle and/or sluggish one-on-one offenses are slowly going away (ah-hem, Phil Jackson ball). Final score, Dallas 140 Minnesota 136 (no OT). Seriously, who scores 130+ points and loses? It just doesn't happen much (since the 1980s). Not a knock on the TWolves. It's just way more entertaining than NBA games that are like 87-83. 2 Quote Link to comment
