Well you must not know very many people in the construction trades

They have been struggling mightily for years and especially now

Back when I was growing up- all us kids and friends worked construction in the summers- we coveted those jobs for the pay

Now the mantra is "Love what you do. so you never have to work another day in your life" or something to that effect

Then you have a kid with a music or social work or gender studies degree- underemployed because our mean society didnt have that dream high paying social work job for him when he got his degree

I must say, you have a very interesting view of the world.

You just lumped a number of small percentage issues together and made them sound like the vast majority of kids fall into this.

I have friend whose daughter graduated with an art degree, but she doesn't want to be a teacher. I'm like... you spent all that money on that degree and what did you think she was going to use it for?

I like how they also make  taking a run at your dream and doing what you enjoy sound like a bad thing. Bravo!

If someone cant even be truthful to admit- that the media and education system is blatantly biased and left leaning- they are far to entrenched in their positions to warrant a reasonable discussion and possible changing of minds.

Teachers are just losers teaching socialism, am I right, Donald Trump Jr.?

btw I’m not a trump supporter by any stretch I think he’s a buffoon  and I’m all for more legal immigration - since most millennials have no interest in doing anything that doesn’t require a 4 year degree and requires getting dirty

It's hilarious because there are probably just as many immigrants working jobs that require 4 year degrees as those working jobs that require no education at all. I'm a millennial with two four years degrees and still crawl around on my hands and knees, cut up my hands,  and ruin shirts with grease stains so maybe let's stop over generalizing everyone.

Oh, and I have a friend who works a construction type job even though he has a finance degree. He wants to switch but he'd take too large of a pay cut starting over. Another friend has a master in construction management and busts his a$$ on the job. A number of friends framed houses to pay for college. I think they would tell you, and you probably know if you work construction, that it breaks your body. Some people simply don't want to sacrifice their bodies the rest of their life for money they could get with out jeopardizing their future well being. Quite a few friends have got a degree and went back to the farm. Some use their degree and farm the side. So you over generalization of my generation is stupid, to put it nicely.

I have 2 2nd cousins who are millennials that have college degrees and work in construction.

I have 2 1st cousins who are a Gen X and boomer with degrees who work in construction.

I have 2 1st cousins with no degree who are baby boomers who work in construction.

It’a already old seeing you just pulling things out of thin air or a dark area and presenting them as facts without bothering to find out if they actually are.

Maybe you should try to find data to back up your opinion (that’s all it is) that millennials are underemployed because they only want to work their dream job. Good luck with that.

shame on discussing truths and facts when that side disagrees with what’s being discussed

name calling and shame tactics is almost always the chosen weapon

you're right

terms like alt right, snowflake, nazi, white supremacist, libtard, socialist, communist, triggered, social justice warriors, keyboard warriors, cucks, hippies, elitists, extremists, bigot, racist, ideologue, misogynist, troll, beta, blue pills, feminazis, globalists, participation trophies, PC, regressive left, safe space losers, and so on are used with reckless and inaccurate abandoned from all sorts of immature people across the entire political spectrum.

Liberals have some pretty nasty labels for conservatives if we need to get into that.

Already got into it. You don't seem to want to look at the whole picture, though. You're trying to play up this facade of reasonable impartiality, but your strong conservative perspective is shining through very clearly. Which is fine. Nothing wrong with being conservative. But regardless of your affiliation and your leanings nobody will take you seriously if you can't call a spade a spade on your own side of the spectrum.

The vast majority of people we see today having violent protests and death threats against speakers- seem to be from the left and on college campuses against conservatives like Ben Shapiro and Laura Ingraham. Almost all of those speakers being banned or threatened seem to be conservatives. Very shameful anti american stuff.

Either provide some data or don't make stupid claims like this. Yeah, some coastal/elite college campuses have gone a bit off the rocker with their non-violent protests and shouting down of conservative voices and non-woke professors/speakers/etc., but that's one relatively small and isolated piece of the puzzle.

We can talk about actual violence, if you want. Actual violence on all sides. ANTIFA, neo-nazis, etc. Or we could talk about protests and ideological wars that aren't violent on both sides as well. Or we could talk about both combined together. But stop using slippery and inaccurate language to paint your conservatively rose-colored perspective as reality.

The guy needs to be prosecuted for what he did.  I'm sure he will lose his part on the show.

But...the guy needs serious help mentally.  The guy has real issues.

I'm also interested in knowing what charges, if any, will be pressed against the two brothers.  They are a major part of this scheme too and they knew what they were doing.

I think the media has skewed to the left for years. Nothing extreme, but definitely left of center.

They are generally college educated writers who have chosen an interesting but not particularly well-paying career. The profession typically requires getting multiple sides to the story, vetting the information for accuracy, becoming better informed than the average media consumer, and then packaging that story for the average consumer.

It's this dynamic that skews journalism to a more liberal bent, and not surprisingly the facts generally align to their side. If the mainstream media has to make s#!t up, or let blowhards rant in order to seem "fair" it's not doing its job.

Am I suggesting that the left-leaning mainstream media is more accurate than right-leaning sources?

Yes. Yes I am.
