Yeah, the argument is that if you stay uptempo and keep your rhythm, you get the first down or downs needed to mathematically run out the clock. Not a bad strategy. When it works. There was a little too much time to kill in the Colorado game, and we can’t put much faith in the defense. Or our field goal kicker. Nothing is a no brainer this season

Yesterday I felt sick about the loss. It was the first time after the prior three games that I felt this way which means they had me invested in the outcome. Thing are getting better, but this is a 3-5 year rebuild unless they can develop/recruit younger linemen both O & D and defensive backfield.
