We all scoffed at the thought of Ozigbo being a major factor in this offense. He is working his tail off and has made himself into a guy who will play on Sundays. Nothing but respect for how this young man has handled his business. Yup. 1 Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
Oz must be the happiest guy in the world. If MR stays he is forgotten. Frost has made him a draft pick and anNFL player 1 Quote Link to comment
Gage County
He's really found his place and his rhythm. We're we're talking about how he doesn't get a lot of YAC. That's not his style, he doesn't shed tackles and drag guys 10 yards but what he does do is pretty fun to watch. Quote Link to comment
Guy Chamberlin
Watched Ozigbo for four seasons now. Always liked him well enough. Figured he was being used about right. But I don't remember him being this fast. Being fast just wasn't his thing. Now it looks like he has a whole nuther gear. I don't remember him getting to the corners that fast, or pulling legitimate jukes, or reverse fields or. blowing past cornerbacks. He's faster in the open field than Martinez, for sure. The jump from four yards a carry to 9 yards a carry is pretty remarkable. Not saying he made a deal with the devil. Just saying it would explain things. 3 1 Quote Link to comment

macroboy
It has seemed to me that for the last 3 seasons, through 2 coaching staffs, that the coaches have wanted someone to pass him on the depth chart. And part way through the season he is starting or getting the most carries bc/ he is the back that gets things done. Not great but better than what else is on the roster. Does what you want him to. This year he looks quicker, shiftier and faster than he ever has. New S&C did wonders for him. And he was still low on the depth chart....and he still didn't let it happen. Quote Link to comment
Guy Chamberlin
And Washington already looks better than your average Newby. Is it possible we should show some love for the offensive line? 5 Quote Link to comment

Lanes for the RBs and time for Martinez. 4 Quote Link to comment
suh_fan93
I doubted Oz but he really has improved and shown that he can do more than just put his head down. He has been a total joy to watch this season. He's shown great cutting ability to go along with that tough running style. Quote Link to comment

Now just need to build that depth up, getting a game where there should be plenty of backup reps will help. Quote Link to comment
