StPaulHusker
Noah Vedral has a long way to go. 2nd string OL as a unit wasn’t great but not sure what anyone expected based on our starters Defense is getting there but it’s not getting there fast enough Overall, the decision to play this game was the correct one, imo 1 Quote Link to comment

Hayseed
Bethune Cookman has players who play with a lot of heart. Nobody will call for backup linemen or quarterback the rest of the season. We didn't give much away to Ohio State. Runza should start a big ad campaign when we play teams in the Chicago area. Quote Link to comment
Dan_F_31
I learned that Nebraska is trending up and the rest of the Big Ten West is trending down 2 Quote Link to comment

Stuck in more zone than he'd like. A full year in the system and some new blood should help. Defense is won on the recruiting trail. So much has been said about how that 1997 Nebraska team was built on Nebraska kids. Not much is said about how the offense was and the defense wasn't. That defense was built on athletes recruited from coast to coast. Offenses have a much easier time solving problems through scheme than defenses do. I still question if Chins gets this done, but he absolutely doesn't have the players needed, in particular at OLB. Get him a couple of real threats there that he can move around and cause confusion with and this defense as a whole takes an enormous jump. I'd easily trade recruiting victories for actual victories at this point. 3 1 Quote Link to comment

teachercd
I learned that the tailgating was really bad today (I heard that while at the bars in Lincoln) and that the bars were pretty dead...but still fun! Quote Link to comment

4skers89
The 2nd/3rd string lines look like they need an offseason or 2 in the weight room and follow the nutrition plan. Quote Link to comment

secretasianman
The team lacks depth, but for many seasons now with the lack of blow out wins, we just haven’t had the opportunity to get meaningful game reps to develop the backups. I was glad to see them get in today. 2 Quote Link to comment
