You argue and argue but you always stick with it's the players, so we'll just agree to disagree and call it a day. I know i'd get fired if I always had an excuse, i'm sure you would as well, my boss would say "make it work". I'm just asking what you would do to change it. What tweaks would you make? What are our strengths? You're over here criticizing chinander in his first year so I'm assuming you would have suggestions? If you're so set on chinander being the problem then you should state why instead of dodging every question. I've explained why I think it's personnel (We have no good pass rushers, our lbs aren't fast so they can't play man nor are they good at zone, our secondary is not good in coverage. This isn't madden, you can't expect them to automatically be good because of a new coach. Also, why are you saying it's chinander when you can't explain why his scheme his bad or what our strengths are. You never even mentioned how'd you tweaks his system yet you know it's mostly on chinander? Hm. Quote Link to comment

HuskerJax
He didn’t launch, was basically just standing there. That is not targeting Quote Link to comment

Stick with what's working. OL not good enough to really let those stretch plays develop. Quote Link to comment
HuskerPowerVA
Refs got that one right and not just because of my obvious bias. Quote Link to comment

Moiraine
We have no idea whether the new targeting rules have made things safer for the players. No analysis has been done and it would take several years to do so and even then it'd be hard to show that these penalties are the cause. Quote Link to comment
Micheal
How can you stop the game if no flag has been thrown? 1 Quote Link to comment
OmahaPlaya
Whew no targeting. 1 Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
Since it was not targeting, #1 should not have been allowed to play the next snap, since he was injured before. Quote Link to comment
lo country
Not targeting. Make up call if it is. Bootle is stopped and goes down low with his pads.... Quote Link to comment
Nebhawk
And everyone complained about Texas running the Big 12........Ohio St and Urban Meyer got that review! 3 Quote Link to comment
InOmaha
The DBs from the 90s would have been ejected for more games then they played using these rules. Those guys hit harder then linebackers. 1 Quote Link to comment
