Popular Post Branno
I said it after Colorado and I'll say it again. This team is going to be good. We can quibble over coaching decisions, talent levels, etc, but I think we can all agree that if you take last year's team and Ohio State blocks the punt and scores a TD to make it 9-7 they wouldn't have recovered. The future is bright, and honestly the near future doesn't look too bad. I was fully prepared to get owned today, instead I was frustrated we didn't pull out the win. A couple of dropped passes and missed tackles and maybe we blow them out. That is where Frost has this team. 11 1 2 Quote Link to comment

CheeseHusker
The improvement is absolutely real, and tangible. 7 1 Quote Link to comment
Kernal Corn
Ohio State could not pull off a blackout game like Purdue did in the Buckeyes last game. 1 Quote Link to comment
Bigred_inSD
Get a few more players and this team can compete with anyone in the Big 10. This Ohio State team is weaker than past teams. Martinez still has his freshman moments D still has gaping mistakes. Urban leaves in a year or two because of *health* 5 1 Quote Link to comment
Popular Post Moiraine
I thought we had improved a lot, now I know we have. Also, I didn't learn this 'cause I already knew it, but Husker "fans" who try to downplay anything positive by saying things like "OSU obviously isn't a top 10 team this season" are really annoying. 9 3 Quote Link to comment

ADS
- The team has improved in certain areas. There are still glaring holes on this team that have to be addressed. - Pass protection is one of those. - Would it be possible to clone Alex Henery AND Adi Kunalic? - A pass rusher would make a world of difference. - Safety is, and will continue to be a weakness. - Adrian can play with the best of them, and even carry a team (see the first half). 1 Quote Link to comment
BoNeyard
Improvements are happening across the board (exception special teams) but one area that I’m pleased to see is the lack of dumb penalties over the last 3 games. Penalties being cleaned up is a direct sign of discipline and accountability 2 Quote Link to comment
Packerhuskerfan
Our special teams are horrible. It might be the worst we've ever had. I feel like the offense went backwards in the second half with a couple drops and Martinez not being on target. We should have been able to do more against that secondary. I guess we didn't get blown out but that Ohio State team has issues and we couldn't capitalize. 1 Quote Link to comment
It'sNotAFakeID
We left about 12 points on the field on 3 plays. Take those away and Nebraska snags a monumental upset. Theyve gotten so much better than they were at the start of the year. 2 Quote Link to comment
olddominionhusker
Find better kickers. Consider a dedicated ST coach Some positives on defense today. Still miles away from what we need but overall a decent day. Find one pass rusher(or more) that teams have to account for all the time. Oline is developing and starting to be able to if not consistently control the LOS hold their own against elite teams. We can run on anyone. Need to improve pocket/pass blocking Offense still a bit inconsistent but if you put up 30 you usually should win. I dont one think we are going to sneak up on anyone anymore. Iowa should be worried 1 Quote Link to comment
Pasadena Husker
i learned that this team is 2-7, but can cover a point spread on the road. Quote Link to comment
Popular Post brophog
That we need to win more so we're not stuck with Brady Quinn again. 12 1 1 2 Quote Link to comment
Cdog923
The improvement is noticeable, but there's still a ton of things to clean up before this program gets anywhere remarkable. Quote Link to comment
