Hayseed
Now that we’re in the Iceberg league it’s probably better to play in the heat of the day. Quote Link to comment

huKSer
The only good thing for me -11 am games don't have a lead in game that will go long Quote Link to comment

BoNeyard
This will be a real test for a game. MSU will play physical and they will need to win this game to keep their season from being a big disappointment. They only put up 6 points vs Ohio State, so seeing how our defense does should be interesting. Quote Link to comment
4skers89
I liked how OSU's Tate Martell looked against MSU. Maybe it was just Sparty not being prepared for a DTQB but it's possible that AM causes them a lot of grief. Quote Link to comment

Atbone95
Michigan State opens at -1.5, based on what I'm seeing. 1 Quote Link to comment
brophog
The interesting thing about our defense is, while they haven't played well overall, they have mostly allowed the kind of production the opponent averaged at the time. It's not like everyone is completing 70% and rushing for 7 yards per carry. Opponent rushing numbers ebb and flow with the opponent's talent, but after giving up 66% completion to both Troy and Colorado, opponent percentages have come way down. Only NW approached that at 64%, with Purdue coming the next closest at 60%. If we could just stop giving up big plays when opponents do get a completion our numbers would be a lot better. It's enough to make me confident that a team like Michigan St, who has failed to overcome significant injuries, isn't going to suddenly become an offensive juggernaut just because they're playing Nebraska. 1 Quote Link to comment
LumberJackSker
Just hold them to 28 or so and Nebraska will win just about every game now that the offense is clicking. Michigan State has two quarterbacks which means they don't have one. No way they beat Nebraska in a shoot out 48-28 Nebraska. Quote Link to comment
B.B. Hemingway
Man, a lot of people on here calling for a 20 point.... Confidence is high! Quote Link to comment
r06ue1
This will be the best defense we've played since Michigan so should offer a very good look into just how far we have come offensively since then. The Ohio State offense looked like crap against them, they simply do not make many mistakes. Ohio State's D really slammed the door on them but that is due to Sparty's offensive ineptitude. My guess is we will see a good dose of MSU running backs getting the ball in this one. This game should be really close and may come down to a late field goal to win it. 1 Quote Link to comment
jaws
I think Martinez will put up some good numbers in this game and I think that Nebraska wins by 10. 1 2 Quote Link to comment
