**2019 Opponent Previews: at Colorado (Game 2)**

After Colorado had beaten Arizona State to improve to 5-0 I thought that they had a really good shot of going at least 8-4 and being in the mix for winning the South.

Was totally wrong. The most points their defense has allowed all season is 42 (against Arizona of all teams), but their offense just hasn't seemed to be much more than lobbing the ball to Shenault.

After Shenault got hurt, the CU offense really suffered.  When they blew the Oregon State game, that put MacIntyre firmly on the hot seat, and now looks to be gone.

As we discussed in the other preview for Colorado, they easily had the strangest set of preseason predictions. Some models had them at around 2 wins, others were putting them on most improved lists. Well they found a way to make everyone correct, didn't they.

Agreed. Almost a microcosm of the PAC-12 itself this season, really.
