I would assume this was OSU's finals week too so their schedule may have been a little wonky too.

I am at 35000 feet en route to Sioux Falls. If anyone has advice on food/bars for a 26 year old and his 21 year old brother please share them here. 

 

Only thing on our list so far is Scarlett O'Haras. Called to ask if they do bottle service and the guy laughed and hung up. Should be a hilarious trip.

If that's the type of fun you are looking for then you are going to be sorely disappointed. The night life is pretty bad in Sioux Falls.

The Sanford Pentagon is a very cool facility. It's designed to replicate a gym from the 1950s, tiny capacity and all. Sanford Health has paid a bunch of high-major teams to come over the years. Wisconsin, Iowa State, Colorado (twice), Wichita State, Oklahoma State, Minnesota (twice), Vanderbilt, Iowa, Memphis, UNLV and more have all played there in the past 5 years.

 

Tim Miles and Greg McDermott were actually just at the Pentagon a few days ago to watch Matthew Mors play, so there's at least one recruit who could be interested in this one.

This is just what I was thinking.  Get MM to the arena and try to impress him.  Tm also said this week he wants to help bring higher level basketball to the state of South Dakota. He said growing up there it was rare to be able to see a D1 game.

A lot has changed in SD on that front, specifically the last 10 years or so. Sioux Falls finally has facilities that could actually draw events and both large state schools finally moved up. Cool to see a big time recruit cropping up now too. Mors is a freak of nature for his age.
