Since today is the last day to sign an LOI, I am assuming he is waiting to sign until February. Any mention of this anywhere?

He’s not signing until Feb

Was ecstatic about the offer. Said he has never been to a game here but he watched Nebraska all the time when his brother was here. He also was in attendance when we lost at Virginia Tech to Tyrod Taylor.

Has recent offers of North Carolina, Baylor, UCLA, Maryland and TCU. Tennessee, Duke, South Carolina and Louisville will probably offer soon.

Has already visited VT. Wants to visit Nebraska, TCU and UCLA.

Va Tech CB this morning...

They currently now have 3. We’re late to the party but we could quickly turn that around.

Wouldn’t worry too much about those now.  He’ll visit here in Jan and we’ll see if those switch.

With Lakia Henry's decommit, Tennessee has now offered Asante.  Shouldn't we be the leader here if we truly want him?  I'd take him as we need some guys that can punish. :bonez

Maybe this is just me but I feel that if there was enough mutual interest there would be a visit scheduled already.

I hope this means we are getting the other OLB's on our board bc I like this kid...legacy and a wrecker on defense and ST.

No Jordan. Parker isn't interested. Wtf are we doing

Hopefully dixon steps up this year.  I also think a kid like Farmer could grow into a hybrid safety OLB.  Dont think the sky is falling if we dont get an OLB, but would like to get one if we can get the right guy

We need guys to play olb in our base 3-4. Missing out on guys like parker i think is a big deal. Even if caleb tannor puts on 30+ pounds and maybe alston works out Nebraska doesn't currently have a lot of bodies for those two positions.

The snow apparently was a turnoff.

That won't be why he doesn't pick us. Kansas is our competition mainly at the moment and if he goes there next weekend Saturday is a high of 20 and low of -6 with 70% chance of snow.

Crazy. I never knew that. It's a shame Tannor, Dixon, Alston, Nelson, Ferguson, Davis, Jefferson, and Alexander all decided to quit playing football.

Not to mention Farmer and Wright who they said have the potential to grow into the position

I hear you but dixon is never going to be an every down player at 5 11 205 he's not built to be an olb in a 3-4. Ferguson and davis are seniors. Jefferson and alexander, have they ever played? There's a lot of unknowns there olb is probably one of the weakest positions.

Davis and Jefferson can't even be mentioned for how ineffective they are. Graham and Nelson def have potential, but will be true freshman.

I am sorry the concept of age and eligibility and roster distribution are foreign to you.

I think people are also forgetting what Jojo did at OLB last year. He will have a year to add muscle and another spring ball will only help. I also think the staff loves Nelson at olb as a pass rusher. We only have a couple spots? Get best available and if we can get a grad transfer at WR I’m good with not taking another olb. We need another WR who can help now.

No what's crazy is you freaking out because the staff is missing out on 1 OLB, when we have 2 signed and 3 younger on the roster, and are actively recruiting Parker, Lockhart, Fonua, and Evans. You are right though we should ask  WTF ARE WE DOING instead of being logical.

I think we are light on numbers because I see at least 5 out of 9 OLB's on scholarship that I wouldn't count on playing a lot because they aren't good enough, not ready, not going to be on the roster come fall, or a combination of the 3

I will concede to the keyboard warriors. Sorry Eugene, I wanted you here :/

There's a lot of guys I wanted here, guys I wish this staff would have pursued.  But I think they know what they are doing.

Man, I don't know about this guy. He looks a little too much like Tyjon Lindsey for comfort.

Kid has been coached by great coaches his entire life. Multi sport athlete, took his underdog team to the "ship." Here is a picture of when he was a kid.

Haha.  I used to call him G-baby because he was kinda small.  His name is Alex and in the movie his name was Alex.  He was the right fielder I believe.  Didn't have a big role

Could be the start of a class that bests the 50-3 record posted from kellen moore's recruiting class.
