Roxy15
Alfredo Sauce/Seafood Pasta: 1/2 Cup Butter 2 Cups Heavy Cream 1 Cup Grated Parmesan Or Asiago Cheese 1 Clove Garlic, Pressed Fresh Ground Pepper Fresh Minced Parsley-(Opt.) In saucepan, combine butter and heavy cream; simmer for about 10 minutes or until nice and warm. Add the cheese; simmer for 15-20 minutes in low until the cheese is melted; stir while cheese is melting! Remove from heat and use on your linguine/fettuccine/your favorite pasta. Garnish with more cheese, fresh ground pepper and parsley, if using. To Make Seafood Pasta: Add scallops and shrimp or whatever seafood you prefer to the sauce when the cheese is melted. Continue to cook on low until seafoid is done to your liking. Serve iver your favorite Pasta. Garnish each serving with more cheese, black pepper and parsley, if using. NOTE: You can dress the sauce up more by adding some green onions, more garlic, sliced fresh mushrooms or whatever you think would be good in it. Add to the sauce or sprinkle some on top or both, if you want. Make extra sauce if you need to. I like spicy food and if you do too, throw some cayenne in it! 1 Quote Link to comment
