Severe and "valuable... journalism" don't belong in the same sentence.

This is true. Also has the worst intros for his radio guests. The Chris Heady one even makes me cringe a little.

Personally, I don't treat a single one of our local radio hosts as journalists. They're more personalities that share opinions based on the work the TV, newspaper and online reporters do. (For the record, I'm not saying it's a good or bad thing. They're filling a certain niche in the media world.)

But, that's also why I took a bit of an issue with Schaefer and Benning talking about all this stuff on Sharp & Benning the other day, and with any other local reporter sharing this stuff without solid basis. We don't have any confirmation of facts or concrete information. It's almost exclusively speculation, outlined very well in knapplc's hypotheticals above. It's possible a lot of it has been perpetuated and twisted, perhaps even unintentionally.

Exactly the same issue I had with the discussion last week; literally none of what they were talking about was substantiated, and if you had called either one of them out on it, their would have gotten their panties in a wad tight enough to produce a diamond.

Like I said earlier, dont you think there would be at least one picture or one video out of him getting blackout drunk at a local bar if this were the case? In this day and age, you cant go anywhere as a public figure without something being posted to social media. I dont buy it.

I hate technology.  I hate when someone takes a picture of me when I'm blackout drunk.  Even more frustrating is when people somehow take my picture with my phone and post it on my facebook wall and make it look like a selfie.

Damon and Schaefer? Nooooo!

And Damon would of spent 2 1/2 segments defending himself with a string of nonsensical sentences.

I could not even imagine what it would be like to be in college now with all the pictures/snaps/tweets.  And the nudes!  My god would I be sending out soooo many nudes!

"Nudes" via the cell phone were in their infancy during my last couple years of HS/College. They were grand, and mostly (though not always) harmless. But now?! Social media is terrifying!

So did Moos get fired yet for texting nude pictures of himself to boosters’ wives?

Speaking of texting and photos and stuff, I’ve been playing a couple online games with some 20-something guys and one of them I think all he does is video games and tindr. Everyone once in awhile he says he has to leave because he’s having company over and it’s like 12:30am.

I asked him if he ever sees any of them twice and he says rarely. Kids these days. Back in my day no one ever had a one night stand.
