Class of 2019 Five-Star Bru McCoy originally signed with USC.  Then enrolled at Texas for the spring semester.

And now....

The Longhorns just wrapped up the spring semester, and one of the early enrollees from the 2019 recruiting class is currently weighing his options to transfer out of the program. Horns247 has learned through multiple sources that former five-star wide receiver and early enrollee Bru McCoy is considering transferring from Texas to USC. Horns247 partner site, USCFootball.com, was first to report the news of McCoy's potential transfer.

Usually those types fizzle out anyway. SC is a disaster and Helton will be out by this year anyway. Meyer watch.

Also according to twitter:  Huskeronline says that we may have a potential transfer TE in the works. Looks to be from Rutgers.

How do you quit 2 teams without getting to an actual season? No coaching changes or anything.. Transferred out of USC between signing day and spring ball, not transferring out of Texas between spring ball and fall camp.

Also looks like he might be going back to USC after all of this

I feel like this is why kids shouldn't be able to just freely transfer whenever they want to.

UConn's top returning WR - kid is fast as lightening and also has great size. Would love to see what our staff could do with him

He's listed as an athlete, which means UConn is undecided on what position to best use him, but that he presents options. A top possibility is receiver because of his speed and elusiveness.

Dixon ran a 4.39 40-yard dash at UConn's summer camp.

"You can't coach a 4.39 or a 40-inch vertical jump," Glastonbury coach Scott Daniels said. "He'd turn a bad play that looked like it was going nowhere to a great play. Keyion made plays that you can't even design. He is a special talent."

New Britain coach Tebucky Jones, a former NFL defensive back, witnessed Dixon's skills on a 47-yard touchdown run down the left sideline and past the New Britain bench in 2014.

"He dropped the snap, picked it up," Jones said. "I said, 'Uh-oh, we're in trouble.'"

Dixon finished that game with 181 rushing yards on 12 carries.

New Britain and other opponents this season had to absorb similar damage. Dixon ran for 210 yards on 19 carries against Hall-West Hartford on Sept. 11, 203 on 19 attempts against New Britain on Nov. 6, and 176 on 14 carries vs. Simsbury on Nov. 13.

"When I was at Burton [Family Football Complex] this summer, I felt I could compete with anyone there," Dixon said. "The atmosphere, coaches, players; everything felt right."

Dixon said he selected UConn over Temple and UMass.
