Copeland's College Career Over

Recommended Posts

Yeah, that blows.  This is why I always think dudes should go when they have a chance to make some cash.

Overseas, if you are in the right league, you can make really nice money.  80-110K for 4-6 months...everything is paid for...then you come back to the states run a few camps or open a gym...it is not bad at all.

Was he really a guy that could have left early?  Palmer maybe but copeland will struggle athletically at the next level.  I agree it does suck for him and his teammates.

Not to the NBA.  But he was considering - or at least there was talk that he was considering - going overseas to play.  Given his injury history the thought was maybe he'd call it a career in college and try to play professionally before he got too many more miles on his body (no pun intended).
