That was also the story at this point for the Class of 2019. But Ruud was able to make up a lot of ground by being in Omaha every week he was allowed to be. So hopefully when they are actually able to visit these kids they can start to make up some ground. Quote Link to comment

He is the type that would get a Kansas State, Wisconsin and Minnesota offer and up a starter and playing good against Nebraska. Time to flip that around where he gets the Nebraska offer, comes to Nebraska to play, while Minnesota and Kansas State types offer and he becomes a good player at Nebraska. I like his size and athletic ability. Not sure what position he will project to at Nebrask at the moment, but I would bring him in as an ATH and go from there. Quote Link to comment

Mavric
Quote Not every offer is created equal. As Nebraska builds its player pool for the next class, each position coach crafts his own draft board at his respective position. There is a top tier — maybe half a dozen players, Held said — who can commit at any time, even if they’ve never visited the campus. Then there’s another grouping of prospects: NU believes they have talent but wants to learn more. Is there an academic issue? Are they a cultural fit? Can they post even better seasons as high school seniors? Those offers aren’t “committable” right now, Held said. It is the start of the conversation. And there’s nothing wrong with talking to a lot of people. Just a reminder for when those "why are we offering all these mid-three-star guys?" questions come up. 2 Quote Link to comment

Decked
QB recruiting gonna be rough in this class. Should have let Verdu go when we had the chance. 2 1 Quote Link to comment
