@RedDenveri for one am willing to pay more for made in US products. Though the union labor thing doesn’t matter much to me.  I’d buy same product if made from non union labor too.

@Archy1221 Agreed, but both of those are why it costs "more" since a sweatshirt is a heck of a lot cheaper when made by someone making $0.03/hour.

The attempts to dunk on AOC for that were just lame IMO. More socialized economies still sell overpriced tacky s#!t just like we do.

 

What I do wish everyone would stop doing is praising these politicians. MAGA hat or AOC sweatshirt whatever stop wearing this stuff just around as some statement about your identity, its strange. You shouldn't love any political figure, they all deserve scrutiny not adoration.

 

As for the green new deal? Its ok, I like the idea of a big spending bill to help get people jobs after Covid. I am pro nuclear energy so I don't like how that gets left out and although I am a huge public transit guy I don't see a nationwide high speed rail network as a priority, local transit is a better ROI and will get used a lot more. We need funding directed toward local transit authorities who have had their revenues decimated this year, making it more difficult to get around in our major cities will only increase VMT and make things worse.
