There would have been a plea hearing set at some time point whether or not he maintained the same attorney. The timeline on this is/has been pretty standard. If a plea deal is not reached at the plea hearing and he pleads not guilty he should get a trial date at that point (in which other deadlines in the case will be based). Quote Link to comment

He is already plead not guilty at the last hearing and the way I understand the next hearing in June is a plea hearing. Does not make any sense, except for he has a new attorney.
