Thanks. But seriously, the auto correct function on my phone and tablet are WAY out of control. These things completely make up words I am not typing. It's not mild adjustments for typos, it's like it's trying to tell a completely different story. Good catch. Jive was all me. Can't even blame auto correct for that one. But in my defense, according to Merriam Webster, jive has been commonly misused for jibe since it was introduced in the 1920's. So I'm not alone

After reading the report and seeing  this I don't see how MW can be charged with a felony. Seems almost like R01 and V01 are trying to capitalize on #metoo with going after a "star" football player, when the "true criminals" are not being pursued.

It was probably my fault.  I used jive the other day and about two hours later I was wondering why I didn't use jibe which I knew was correct.  I think someone already quoted me so I didn't correct it.  In my defense, I was tired.

I don't think the motivations of the victim and her mother will factor much into Mo's defense. He did something stupid and will be held accountable for it.  Mo's attorney did say this so maybe it will

I still don't think Washington should play until process has been done. Good or bad. Back in the day any player on Nebraska would have sit until proven guitly or not. Especially for a bonehead move like distributing child porn.

The thing that annoys me the most about this whole thing is child porn laws are meant to protect kids, and this incident is not evidence that Washington is pedophile or that he’s gonna go around pursuing 15 year olds as an adult. She was his ex girlfriend, he was 15/16 when he got the video. I would be okay with some kind of legal punishment, like for the revenge porn, but there needs to be something different than being registered as a sex offender for the child porn charge when it’s already highly unlikely the person is going to do the same thing again.
