Stuffed Peppers/Pics

I made these last night for dinner.  I only had 6 green peppers and I had quite a bit of meat mixture left after filling the green peppers.  You will need more than 6 green peppers if you make this!

 

Stuffed Peppers:

 

Green Peppers-(Used 6-Need More!)

2-(14.5-oz.)-Cans Hunts Diced Tomatoes With Basil, Garlic, Oregano

2 White Onions, Chopped

Chrustipher Ranch Minced Garlic

***Just Eyeballed It

Hunts Tomato Soup-(I Think I Used Just 1 Can)

***You Want Enough To Cover Tops!

1 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce

1 Box Beef Rice A Roni, Cooked!

***Make Sure You Cook Rice!

1/2 Cup Bottled Water

***I May Leave Water Out The Next Time I Make This

1-1/2-lbs. Hamburger

2 Teaspoons Chili Powder

***Will Use More Next Time

1 Package Shredded Cheddar Cheese

***Really Could Use Any Kind Of Cheese!

Garlic Salt & Ground Black Pepper, To Taste

***You Can Spice This Up More By Adding Chopped Jalapeños/Green Chile’s!

 

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

 

Cut the tops off the green peppers.

 

 Wash the seeds out of the green peppers.

 

Put the green peppers in boiling water and cook for 5 minutes or so; drain.

 

Put the peppers in baking dish.

 

Season peppers if you want.

 

While the green peppers are boiling, cook the hamburger with onions and garlic; drain.  You could make this with some sausage and that would be good too!

 

In the same large pot that you boiled the peppers in, add hamburger with the onions and garlic.

 

Add diced tomatoes, cooked Beef Rice-A-Roni, water-(if using), Worcestershire Sauce, Chili Powder, Garlic Salt and Ground Black Pepper, To Taste.  Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese.

 

Fill the peppers with meat mixture and pour tomato soup on top.

 

Bake at 350 degrees, uncovered, for 35 minutes or until peppers are heated through and cheese is melted and bubbly!

 

I sprinkled some Parmesan Cheese on top when plating.
