Chicken Legs/Dinner Last Night/Pic

Recommended Posts

I made baked chicken legs, stuffing, green beans and cake for dinner last night.  I have never made this recipe for chicken legs before and they turned out great!  It is sure a lot easier to bake them than to fry them and it makes less mess!  I liked them better than fried.

Sunny Select Buttery Flavor Non-Stick Cooking Spray

Aluminum Foil

Cookie Sheet

Used 7 Chicken Legs

Kosher Salt

Freshly Ground Black Pepper

1 Cup All-Purpose Flour

1/2 Cup Baking Powder

4 Teaspoons Chili Powder

2 Teaspoons Garlic Powder

2 Teaspoons Onion Powder

2 Teaspoons Paprika

1/2 Cup Melted Butter

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Line cookie sheet with with aluminum foil: spray with buttery flavor non-stick cooking spray.

Wash chicken legs in colander; pat dry with a paper towel.

Sprinkle both sides of chicken legs with Kosher Salt and Freshly Ground Black Pepper.

In my Tupperware container, I combined flour, baking powder, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, 2 Teaspoons Kosher Salt and 2 Teaspoons Freshly Ground Black Pepper.

Add the chicken legs; put lid in on and shake to coat.

Put legs on prepared cookie sheet: drizzle with 1/2 cup melted butter.

I put more freshly ground black pepper on top.

Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for a half-hour; flip legs over and bake another 30 minutes or until brown and crispy.
