They seem to make a joke about it as often as they poke fun at Trump. But, @BigRedBuster and @Landlord are more or less in line with the things these guys have said. Link to comment

Especially when the people coming in are unwilling to assimilate into the culture they're entering, and are coming from cultures that contrast Western values as much as Sharia law does. Watch the video on the linked article. It's alarming. According to the video, there are over 100 Sharia law courts in Britian. That is also alarming. Sam Harris has the best opinion of the Islamic faith that I've heard, and like him, I won't pretend a large influx of immigration from Islamic countries isn't potentially catastrophic for a country that leans on Western values. 1 Link to comment

That's not good news, and there is zero reason to believe that elements of Sharia law won't find it's way into UK law as the population of Muslims increases in the country. That happening is something to be concerned about, but the high projection for the Muslim population in the EU by 2050 is 16%, and each country is allowed its own citizenship laws. The UK’s current Muslim population is 4%. The main point is the UK has its own citizenship laws. I think Brexit was an overkill response to try to reduce the # of Muslims in their country. That'll add up quick, as will their influence. The 16% estimation takes immigration into account. They make it sound like there are Sharia courts of law in Britain, and there aren't. I can't find anything to back up the 500,000 number when I google immigration/emigration numbers for the UK. The closest I could find is that England's entire population grew by 500,000 in 2016, but that site name wasn't worth mentioning and so I don't know if that # (for population growth) is correct either. So it makes me question that stat as well. That doesn't mean there isn't reason for concern, but Brexit was an overreaction to the potential problem. You should always question the source material. Some videos are made to be alarming because the goal is to be alarmist. Link to comment
