There is an out where you can no longer be on the football team but keep your scholarship to the university. But I believe that is only in the first year of a coaching change. SouthLincoln Husker Posted April 25, 2019 Share Posted April 25, 2019 Doing a little reading and was surprised that even though an athlete gets a multi-year scollie, you can cancel it for almost anything except low performance. From late to class, team meetings & practice to character on & off the field to grades to legal issues. If the coach wants it done, it can be done! Quote Link to comment
