You always are looking for faster players but he is big, looks like he moves well on film, is super strong, and is a pretty good long jumper. It's certainly the sort of player you want on Nebraska at this point. Quote Link to comment

He'd have to switch over to center or punt or something. LOL. Quote Link to comment

He definitely runs closer to a 5.1 than a 4.7. We need to stop being obsessed with 40 times. It has more to do with training than speed. Quote Link to comment

Stumpy1
He is in the same boat as Marvin Scott was in Florida. The home state fans (AU and Bama) would love for him to join their team but he is down on the recruiting board. The fans say he is a very good LB and moves very well for a kid his size. Has a very good instinct for reading plays and getting to the ball. After reading more on him from other team sites, he wanted to commit to Auburn this spring but his parents told him to wait and wanted him to take other visits. Sounds like they want him to leave the state. Quote Link to comment

There is a lot of sub 5 second guys out there who have never had a verified time and are probably at 5 or higher. 1 Quote Link to comment
C N Red
The more I watch his film I can see him as the walk up OLB/DE pass rush specialist. Don't think he would do well in coverage, but tell him to get the ball carrier or QB, and I think he could do pretty well. His short distance burst and quickness are pretty damn good. Don't care what his 40 is, he isn't gonna be running 40 yards much imo. And saw a couple highlights of him punting, so maybe could do that too 1 2 Quote Link to comment

I don't think Barry is slow, but he seemed paralyzed waiting for Fields to make a move on him which meant Fields could just run by him. Quote Link to comment
