Vince R.
There is a lot here. Elite talent not playing the proper position. Quote Link to comment
DrinkinwitTerrellFarley
A state I would be surprised Nebraska ever has much success recruiting unless they have someone on staff with deep local ties. Maybe a few under the radar kids? Just hopefully D1 talent level unlike the Glenn Irons stuff with Bo in '14 Quote Link to comment

Throw Dem Bones
Any idea on what position we’re recruiting him at? Or what he projects to play at the next level? Quote Link to comment

Name an elite athlete from Mississippi, that was in school in Mississippi that Nebraska beat out Mississippi State and Ole Miss for? Yoshi was in Kansas. Probably have to go back to Brandon Jackson, want someone that wasn't from a suburb of Memphis you have to go back to Buckhalter. That was more than 20 years ago. The culture is so much different. Unless Ole Miss and Mississippi State are both struggling, Nebraska doesn't have much of a chance here with top talent. Plus Alabama and LSU make it a priority to recruit from there. They will need someone like the 'Sip version of Tony Hull to make any inroads IMO. Quote Link to comment

Plus the perception that the SEC is the top place to play for competition and being drafted to the NFL also carries weight. It's why I think it is wise to look towards Pac-12 and Big XII country. Money gap is trending upward and perception is trending downward for the programs in these leagues IMO. I believe Nebraska will greater success pulling top talent. 1 Quote Link to comment
