He did what he was probably coached to do and did a head turn but he rounded it off as well. Not great technique on the break.... didnt get faked out. Maybe they are supposed to corner differently based on how the coverage is being played. There wouldn't be any point in a square corner - which would be slower - if the the defender is already turned the other way. Get outside and turned as quick as you can - round it off - and show the QB you're open. Quote Link to comment

It's obvious he wasn't expecting that route, and Williams was wide open because of it. He was 5 yards off because they were in a trips bunch look. They already had a defender pressing. They have 3 defenders at different depths. It makes it harder to run rub or pick routes. But yes you are correct Williams ended up open Quote Link to comment

He was wide open and it’s not because the DB wasn’t faked. You can argue he didn’t put on a clinic and I don’t disagree but arguing he wasn’t faked when the WR was wide open is weird. 1 Quote Link to comment
Moiraine
I don't think anyone posted this yet, it was tweeted a week ago. It's pretty funny. 1 Quote Link to comment
suh_fan93
Quote CBS Sports All-Time All-America First Team Quarterback -- Tommie Frazier (Nebraska, 1992-95): Frazier was best appreciated as time went on. He wasn't the best thrower. He went undrafted after leading Nebraska to consecutive national championships. But his signature play endures -- a 75-yard twisting, turning, tackle-breaking touchdown run against Florida in 1996 Fiesta Bowl. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
