First review was correct. Swiped too early and missed his hand, which hit home before the tag reached the body.

Gomes needs to work with a good hitting coach this summer.  Has been good in the field and in relief, but every time he comes to the plate I cringe.  dude can't hit his weight.

I’m guessing the goal for him will to be a full time pitcher. But I agree, ugly with the stick.
