i don't understand the logic of swinging at the first pitch when the guy who has already pitched a ton this tournament and just walked a runner home.  don't like the lack of discipline

To be honest, we got screwed on the call—the baserunner at first was safe in that replay. Should be 2-2 right now.

 

Oh well, regroup and try again. Too bad the umpires are a big part of this game today.

Probably "too close" to be comfortably overturned.

 

The ump missed a strike 3 two batters before, so arguably it shouldn't have gotten to that point anyway
