Adama Sanogo, the 6-foot-10 junior big man from the Patrick School (N.J.), has cut his list to 10 schools and is eyeing a reclass to 2020 from 2021.

The No. 7 center in the Class of 2021 per 247Sports.com, Sanogo is down to UConn, Nebraska, Maryland, Memphis, Pitt, Illinois, Seton Hall, Auburn, Louisville and Oklahoma State, according to Andrew Slater.

Coaches from several schools watched Sanogo this season.

Nebraska’s Fred Hoiberg and Matt Abdelmassih attended the Patrick School’s game at Long Island Lutheran in February.

Sanogo attended several Seton Hall games and Patrick School coach Chris Chavannes said the Pirates are prioritizing Sanogo, who they see as having a bigger upside than former Seton Hall star Angel Delgado, who also played at the Patrick School.

Nebraska is still in the running to land four-star Adama Sanogo, a 6-foot-9 center in the 2021 class who could reclassify to 2020 and join the roster for next season.

Sanogo is the No. 7 center in the 2021 class and the No. 49 player in the country, according to the 247Sports composite.

He’s originally from Mali but goes to The Patrick School near New York City, where Nebraska assistant Matt Abdelmassih is a well-known recruiter.

Needs to get a qualifying SAT score to be able to re-classify to 2020.  But given his location, that's not happening any time soon.

However, it is a growing possibility that the NCAA will loosen or release academic qualifications given the circumstances.

I've seen where some Universities are forgoing SAT or ACT requirements for admission next year.  There has been talk that the NCAA will follow their lead.

I would be shocked...

This kid (this is just my guess) is either staying east coast(ish) or going to Illinois where he has a former teammate currently on the team.

Abdelmassih is a big time recruiter and has had success at The Patrick School before so there is hope.
