ColoradoHusk
One of the funniest rumors from when I was in school was why Jason Peter didn’t travel to the Kansas State game in Manhattan in 1994. He supposedly had a “groin injury” from microwaving a piece of liver and using it to masturbate. He proceeded to burn his member and couldn’t play that week. 1 Quote Link to comment

They applied for their marriage license in Saunders Co in 2014. Here's the two of them together. I went to school my entire life with her brother. Stine was her married name. 1 Quote Link to comment

I was going to bring this up. 1 Quote Link to comment

I think she was originally married to the son of a booster from GI. Quote Link to comment

They told bo and bo freaked out. Bo stormed to a certain downtown steakhouse when he heard the booster was there. But the booster was at the havelock location and Bo had to be restrained in the back of the restuarnt. I know im a random internet guy, but this one i know to be true. Yes! A new one to add to the list! 3 Quote Link to comment
MyBloodIsRed16
I liked the story of Parella punching one of the Road Warriors in an elevator before a bowl game because he was talking s#!t. 2 Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
The story that I heard about Terrell Farley getting popped for his 2nd DUI during the 1996 season was that when the cops pulled him over and that Farley stopped his car and just took off running. The cops knew they wouldn’t be able to catch him, so they didn’t even give chase. But they knew it was him, so later that night they went to his house and arrested him. Quote Link to comment

He literally drove his car on the large sidewalks which students use to walk thru campus. He was also a big drinker and he would go out with Barry Switzer the Friday night before the OU game every year. Told this story before, but I was living around 32nd and R in Lincoln one winter, and they had closed R Street for repair. So late one night I hear a car turn down my street, see the dead end and then try to back up. Big old Cadillac, and the driver clearly couldn't navigate backing up the narrow street, veering into cars left and right. So I go outside to help and it's a pretty s#!t-faced Bob Devaney. He gets out of the car and lets me do it for him. I did him the favor of pretending I didn't know who he was. 8 1 1 1 Quote Link to comment
knapplc
I remember having discussions about what to allow on the board about the Marvin Sanders story. We took a bunch of posts down when he left, and it wasn't fun, but there were reasons for that pertaining to outside (non-HuskerBoard) parties. Quote Link to comment
Guy Chamberlin
Am I remembering a different Bo and Carl story where they also cornered a guy in a corridor, but it was 2003 after he didn't get the HC gig and they were berating a sports reporter? Quote Link to comment

I have always heard that "now" the LPD can't wait to bust football players where "back in the day" they would always let them off...I don't know when "back in the day" was but that is what I have been told. ColoradoHusk
This isn’t a rumor, but I thought this was pretty funny when I was at UNL. I worked with this girl who was dating Adam Julch (offensive tackle, 1995-99). During that time, the players would always wear white hats with their numbers on the front in big, red font. This girl would always say that she would get heckled by fans when she would go to games wearing the hat with Adam’s number. Does anyone remember what number Adam wore for the Huskers? 1 1 Quote Link to comment

I think when NU was awesome, the Lincoln and campus police were best friends with the coaches and players. Since, NU has been pretty mediocre the past 20 years, the cops have been out to get the players. Quote Link to comment
