Watch it again. The CB won that battle. He basically shoved the WR into the ball carrier and almost tackled him with the opposing player. The ball carrier maybe should have cut up but it's hard to know without seeing the rest of the field.

You are correct.  At first glance I was expecting a good block and cut by JD to the open field, but as it turns out it was probably meant to showcase good defense.

It’s kinda funny watching these things ‘cause you get excited about a good play or a comment in an interview and then you start worrying if one side is good because the other is bad. (Or at least I do).

It's not just you.  We haven't had nice things in years.  We are no longer use to good on good......I think the same thing.  Is the O that good or D just horrific.  Same with the D....

 

I'm cautiously optimistic that we are getting back to good on good.  Now our good on good might not be playoff good, yet....BUT our good is getting much better.
