cornhuskers4ever
Ok, first I may need to explain I'm a bit of a Pro Wrestling nut. That being said, I have been watching GLOW on Netflix, and when I got the video streaming portion added, did a major amount of binge watching for Season 1 & 2 preparing for Season 3. So far, what has been great in the 1st 2 seasons, has so far been missing in season 3. The character development I understand, but GLOW is not only about the characters but the wrestlers too. I wonder how much of it is based on true events, or it's based on stories. It has an Animal House feel to the program which is kind of cool Quote Link to comment
knapplc
We've been watching this. Started off as a "eh, let's try it" and now we actually like it. We're maybe midway through Series 3 and I think it's the strongest series yet. Better story, the characters don't seem so plastic, and they've minimized the wrestling (sorry). Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
I just finished season 3 last night. Season 3 was a big departure compared to the other 2 seasons, but it was still an enjoyable watch. Quote Link to comment
cornhuskers4ever
are there 3 or 4 seasons, maybe I'm still needing to catch up Quote Link to comment
30-50 Feral Hogs
It was my understanding that season 1 and some of season 2 was based loosely off of a book and season 3 is more about creative writing for the show itself. Quote Link to comment
Minnesota_husker
Season 1 was excellent. Season 2 was ok. I havent finished Season 3 but I was about to walk away after about 3 episodes because it was going away from a lot of what I had liked in the first 2 seasons... but they come back around. It becomes a lot more about "issues" and less about wrestling but I actually liked somewhat how they handled it. I am interested to see how they end the 3rd season. Cant say I am hooked but I think its a good enough show. Quote Link to comment
