Yes it would be. Because he has recently been better, hence why they recently updated his recruiting ranking. Recently. Also Rollins has the higher composite even though Carnie was re-ranked recently. Recently.
"Uhhh, you said recently twice"

"I like recently"

;)  Beautiful movie.

Make a move already, I see no problem with taking a third TE this class. Especially since we are more than likely to miss out on Riley next year.

Obviously the staff has guys in the class already and maybe more that are interested that they like better.  I understand fully wanting to keep all good in state prospects home.  But, sometimes the numbers just don't work out for a prospect.

Iowa or KSU?
Here's what I hope in order of preference:

1) We offered him, and he's keeping it on the down low to make it a surprise (wasn't there an article saying he'd missed a call from Frost and hadn't gotten a chance to call him back? Offer call?)

2) We haven't offered but will before the 12th

3) He goes to KSU

In a vacuum Iowa is clearly the better place to go as a TE though, so I really hope we offer him. I know some of them had offers here, but watching guys like Fant/Bazata/Fisher/Ott play better than our guys against us always hurts.

Beckton commented that they will take 2-3 TE's in this year's class.  Sounds like a NU offer could be out to Carnie soon.

Planning to visit Kansas State and Iowa the next two weekends.

Definitely wants to play TE in college.
