I was never overly critical of not rotating. I was definitely critical of the mindset and reasoning given. I still think giving one tackle and one guard a series each half wouldn’t be a bad thing. But - to be fair - I believe Austin has said he’d like to play a couple more guys. Maybe he only said he’d like to have 7-8 ready, can’t remember for sure. So maybe they are still working up to that. Which would be different from the previous staff. But I think the biggest difference is in practice. By most accounts, only the starters were getting significant practice reps under Riley. That is definitely not the case now. So, while not exactly what you’re talking about, I think that a huge step in the right direction. And I think that will pay dividends down the road.
