I agree and it drives me nuts trying to figure out why teams like Wisconsin, northwestern and Iowa field about 7 JoJo Domanns on defense year in and year out. We are lucky to have one. Need to recruit smarter and tougher players I guess.

Another year or two we should have 7 JoJo's. The talent piece is just going to take a bit of time.

I know this is cliche by now, but Ferentz is considered almost the standard for consistent coaching. His first three years of the Iowa re-build? 1-10, 3-9, 7-5.

We aren't trying to be Iowa. But rebuilds take time, and that's what we're going through right now.

Get to a bowl. Recruit. Keep chipping away. Better days ahead.

Martinez is straight up trash do we stick with him doing forward?

Do you watch practice? Yes we stick with Martinez. If he wasn't our best QB he wouldn't be playing

Solich and Pelini weren't bad though. They just weren't great. Bill and Riley were garbage. Frost so far isn't looking a lot different.

Solich inherited a team coming off a national championship and Pelini inherited a team that had 12 future NFL draftees in his first 3 years.

Martinez is not trash. Yes isn't having a break out season, but he is a true sophomore who, in my mind, has had too much put on his shoulders. He's without a 1000 yard back and receiver that he had last year, with a rebuilt/suspect o line.

Pelini won 9+ games the whole time he was here (7 years). Good try though

Frost had the right to bring his entire staff after going undefeated at UCF. That is no longer the case. He needs to make significant changes after this season.

Agreed. This is a poorly coached team. Sloppy.

With multiple NFL draft picks on the roster. Did Riley leave that type of roster?

Not at all. I'm just saying Bo sustained his success past the players from the previous staff. Frost only inherited 3 good players total honestly

Give Frost Suh, Amukamara, Asante, Hagg, and Dillard on defense. That’s just the guys drafted. It’s leaving off guys that were 2nd team all big 12. Way to completely ignore my entire point.

No. In fact, he told a future NFL guy not to come here. We'll be dealing with Riley's shortcomings for at LEAST another year.
