Popular Post huskerguy
Northwestern @Minnesota *bye* Indiana @Purdue All winnable games, all teams with similar or less talent than we have. This will be a better test for our coaches and players. Coming out this stretch 3-1 or 4-0 and then seeing how things matchup with Wisconsin after another bye week. 11 1 Quote Link to comment
Stumpy1
I see 2-2 in the next 4 games. We lose to NW and Minny and squeak out wins against Indy and Purdue. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
VectorVictor
Agreed. We should be favored in all of these games, and the coaches should be able to get us to a minimum of six wins through this stretch. And for the impatient fans in the back—this is (as of this post) only 1.3 years into what will surely be a four or five year rebuild. What Frost did at UCF was almost unheard of for a reason—we’re going to need some time to get to where we need to be. Right now, we just need six or seven wins to get a bowl game and an extra set of practices for the kids coming up. 4 1 Quote Link to comment
Packerhuskerfan
All winnable and all loseable. We have to stop turning the ball over multiple times a game. Defenses also have the blueprint to stop our offense. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

As a fan, sadly I still think in terms of where we were in the 90s as where we should be. Reality hit hard last night, it ain't happening again. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

We’re not discussing the 90s teams, we’re talking about the current team and if they can beat the next four teams—a task that is still possible and plausible. Sorry you’re butthurt over the loss, but instead of crapping on the current program all over the board, maybe try dealing in reality for a change. 11 2 1 1 Quote Link to comment

High snaps and high throws. With our horrible special teams, we can't get FGs or good field position. That is not good for close games. 1 Quote Link to comment

With the exception of maybe NW I don’t see us having any problem scoring a pile of points in the 4 games listed above. 2 Quote Link to comment
SECHusker
Going forward I definitely want to see more of the young guys at the skill positions. We haven't been getting production from the WR Corp, and Washington is banged up. I want to see what our young guys can do... If anything it shows recruits we are willing to play them as freshmen. onlyHskrfaninIL
I see a good stretch to work mccaffery and or vestal into the game plan. Quote Link to comment

lo country
Team and staff need to dig deep. Decide who they are now and who they want to be....Can they flush that OSU game out and quiet the doubt and noise and play some serious football or not. Stop the penalties and TO's or not. Get some leaders who are not afraid to take it to a players a$$ who makes mistakes in game....Coaches who throw caution to the wind and play loose. .... Quote Link to comment
r06ue1
This game may be like last seasons woodshedding in Michigan, team wakes up and plays well the rest of the season. That is the hope at least. 1 Quote Link to comment
