It certainly won't hurt the Illini to have a game be put on a stage like the Ireland game will be but such a strange pick for an opponent at the same time. Oh well. Not complaining just find the choice as an odd one if even from a from a television ratings perspective. They probably figure the home game would be mostly our fans anyways so might as well make it fun Quote Link to comment

KCBuc
i like the idea. Get people talking about NU early. Helps with recruiting. 1 Quote Link to comment

He started a thread "Let It Die" and it basically says we need to get rid of the sellout streak to get rid of the football teams demons. So, I was giving him grief about it. 1 Quote Link to comment

Thought maybe you yourself might have had that questionable mentality. So, nothing to see here, I'll move along. 1 Quote Link to comment

Can't see one of the top 4 or 5 schools in the BIG giving up home field advantage against NU. Guessing Illinois will get paid well and NU Athletics will mostly break even - with this working out best for NU traveling fans. Quote Link to comment

So y'all are using Anthony Travel too aye? Some Domers complain that A.T. holds the major hotels hostage to nudge fans into buying overpriced packages. But I'd be surprised if they got a hold of all available tickets. Quote Link to comment
