Super Moist Cornbread

Super Moist Cornbread:

 

1/2 Cup + 2 Tablespoons Cornmeal

1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour

1/2 Teaspoons Baking Powder

2 Large Eggs

1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar

1 Teaspoon Salt

2 Cups Heavy Cream

4 T. Butter, Melted & Slightly Cooled

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.


Grease an 8x8-in. square baking pan


In a bowl, mix the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar


Add the eggs and mix with a wooden spoon.


Finally add the melted butter and heavy cream. Mix well with a wooden spoon.


Pour the batter the prepared baking pan

 

Bake for 45 to 60 minutes or until browned on top.

 

Remove from oven.

 

Let the cornbread cool a bit.

 

Cut into squares

 

 Serve hot, warm, or cold
