huskerfan702
Let me start off by saying I really hope frost figures it out... but I have never seen a coach alienate his players through the media. It’s consistent that he’ll point the finger but no matter how bad you want a chase young or an SEC level line shouldn’t you adjust your game plan to make up for the lack of difference makers? 2 2 Quote Link to comment
Celsus
I think he hates losing so bad coupled with "Riley's" players apathy, is blowing off steam poorly. He needs to bite his tongue because his recruits are watching. 3 Quote Link to comment

Eliminate a few of them and we probably win. Quote Link to comment

But by all means watch your movie. 5 2 Quote Link to comment
Jason Sitoke
I suspect most fans and players understand that the coaches are spending a lot of time trying to upgrade the talent in the program. I don’t think bringing it up in the press conference after every loss is all that necessary. 2 1 Quote Link to comment

Maybe instead of chucking guys under the bus every press conference, maybe...just maybe.....he could point the thumb back at himself and his staff and how they are getting schooled week in and week out. That would be refreshing and that is more reflective of a true leader. Pass the popcorn 3 Quote Link to comment

Pass the popcorn Maybe he should watch the part in Remember the Titans where coach threatened to break his foot off in the player's butt, and then make them run a mile. The coach in your show held players accountable for their mistakes. Or are we forgetting that part of the movie because it's inconvenient? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 11 1 Quote Link to comment

You can blame yourself all you want, but the bottom line is players also have to execute. He's not saying anything that isn't true. We need a better pass rush. He could've taken multiple siestas with the time he was given. The lack of a pass rush also causes issues for our DBs/LBs when they have to cover 6, 7,8, 9 seconds. It's not an easy task. 2 Quote Link to comment
