What if we beat Wisconsin?

Year 3 for Fleck, year 4 for Lovie. Obviously wish Frost had done it faster, but I suspect we'll be quite a bit better next year. I might be deulsional though, we'll see.

Oh how our expectations have lowered maybe in year 3 or 4 we’ll make a bowl.

No evidence suggests that we will be better next year.  It actually points the other way.

So yes as delusional as thinking we will beat Wisconsin (thread title).

How so?

Be specific.

Mainly 30 point Chinander’s defense will lose experience at all levels, especially DLine.  B10 OC’s have another year to scout him.

The schedule is much tougher next year.

Martinez is regressing.

Very little experience or at running back and wide receiver next year.

Guess what Lovie is probably going to do this year for the first time at Illinois that Frost has never done as a Nebraska head coach?

Go to a bowling alley, spin on his head and push the ball down the lane?

I mean, I could go do that right now...with added flare

But I get your point...Frost probably wont do that. Sometimes flamboyant bowling techniques turn the tables for the better. Like the time i crushed garlic with my bare feet and added it to stir fry...its the little things that add spice.

Imagine what Wisconsin’s D will do to our OL.

It’s a very real possibility QBs get hurt in this game. thats how awful the Greg Austin OL is

The OL is struggling this season.  Obviously.

But there are a couple of former elite Nebraska linemen who have said Austin is doing a good job with what he has.

Jurgens is developing quite well.

I feel like they weren’t good enough to start or get significant playing time on a B10 bottom dweller.

Nothing to hang your hat on.

Sounds like you're in the know........
