Courtesy Flush
Zac Lee was the kid you went to school with that sees you in a store 20 years later and remembers your name... but you don’t know who the heck he is. You feel terrible because you graduated with 63 kids and you’ve completely forgotten one of them. Zac Lee “I was the starting QB at Nebraska in 2009.” Average football fan “Right, and I played center for the Helena Handbaskets.” Quote Link to comment

It rained 2.5” during the game. It was crazy. That defense was so good, it overshadowed how bad Lee was. Those were fun years. Quote Link to comment

Packerhuskerfan
I'd take a healthy Armstrong over this year's healthy and injured versions of Martinez. 1 Quote Link to comment
Danimal
We have multiple issues that could be predicted but never saw AM actually backsliding coming. Its the bad surprises of that and the playcalling also backsliding that' have tipped this season in a negative direction leading to our recruiting being fairly stagnant. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
gobiggergoredder
I’m still wondering....... Was AM really that good last year or was Stanley, Devine and JD able to cover up potential issues? edit...put Stan twice, meant JD 1 1 Quote Link to comment

Packerhuskerfan
I think our RB group is good enough this year. If anything, they have been misused or not used at times. Stanley was a 50/50 jump baller who commanded respect, so also got Speilman open in return. We are definitely hurting not have a 1-2 WR combo. It sucks seeing Martinez overthrow our short receivers constantly, but he also misfires to our tall TEs and doesn't see players streaking wide open. Quote Link to comment
