JJ Husker
These are a knock off copy of a margarita a local restaurant chain (Rio Grande) serves. They limit you to two or three...they’re kind of strong but pretty good. And really, trust me on the lower quality ingredients. If you try to use different or better tequila or change anything they won’t be the same. 6 parts Cuervo Gold tequila 5 parts Juarez Triple Sec 4 parts Island House Lime juice Mix and serve on the rocks (that’s ice for you dummies out there). Really, do not think you’re going to improve these by using better tequila or by substituting some other lime juice. These are great to mix a big batch like a gallon or two and then simply pour over ice. But be careful, 3 people finishing a gallon of these in a few hours will be 3 messed up hombres. I know, oh how I know. Apparently an ex Rio bartender disputes the ratios I have listed https://www.westword.com/restaurants/the-rio-grande-celebrates-ten-years-of-tequila-on-saturday-5759561 but the 6-5-4 does work very well.
