Who's going to terminate him? 1 hour ago, The Dude said: Moos' replacement. We've all watched enough college football to know how this works. So... no. Who's going to fire Moos? And who among the boosters, Green and/or Osborne are going to hire a guy with the mandate to fire Frost when the boosters, Green and Osborne all believe in Frost? 1 hour ago, TheSker said: Here's one of the staggering reasons Frost would be in zero danger, even in the next couple of seasons. $150 million Here are four other staggering reasons. Ronnie Green, Tom Osborne, Bill Moos, donors......and those four reasons are heavily intertwined. Frost has the FULL support of all the above. 1 Quote Link to comment
Dogs In A Pile
No, Scott will be around for years to come regardless of what we do next year. And 5-7 is probably optimistic. Quote Link to comment

If they care more about keeping Frost employed at all costs than they care about the actual success of the program then they all need to go. 1 Quote Link to comment

But you're talking about getting rid of Green, Osborne, boosters, Mooster and Frost. Because that's what it's going to take. Quote Link to comment

You best settle in or find something else to spend your days thinking about. 1 Quote Link to comment

It's extremely unlikely they'll all care about keeping Frost at all costs more than they'll care about the success of the program. Why on earth would they? I get wanting stability, but 4-8 & 5-7 with another consecutive losing season tacked on would far from stable. 1 Quote Link to comment

Why on earth would they? That football complex isn't getting built for any other coach. There is a LOT of money tied up in that thing, that is ostensibly tied up in Frost. That's with the blessing of the boosters who would have to fire Moos, with Osborne's blessing and with Green's blessing (and Bounds' FWIW). I think people thinking Frost is on any kind of hot seat aren't thinking big picture. He could go 0-12 next year - he's not getting fired. 1 Quote Link to comment

When we start the season 7-0 and beat 2 of Minny, Wisconsin and Iowa to finish with 9 wins he will get another year added on. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
Undone
If we go 5-7 next season, I’d probably guess there’d be at least a bit of a sea change in the overall level of interest in the program. Thus making Frost being the guy through the end of his contract something that fewer and fewer people will actually care about anyway. Quote Link to comment
