If he's a similar position and frame as Hodge, I'm not seeing anything better. Usually pretty rosy here but I don't see this as an upgrade from the guy we had on the boat. He's more hand in the dirt where Hodge was running with some guys and covering too. Maybe this is a back-up plan in case we miss on a high end high school kid? Maybe I'm missing something?

 

Bright side is his HUDL says he's a freshman so he's likely at least a 4 for 3 like Hodge was. Something like this puts Alston and Graham on notice I'd imagine.

Good thing Hodge was an ILB and this guy is an OLB
