LOL so let's allow the government, the most corrupt and inefficient organization that exists, to solve that problem... which they largely created in the first place.... seems legit....

I know this isn't the thread for this, but who should fix it then?

Unions?

CEOs?

Consumers?

Individual workers?

Consumers and individual workers should pool their resources to make themselves more effective. They would just need to have a few people organize it and direct the group to be more efficient. Imagine what involved, focused people could do if they worked together!

So would you rather have unions or government fix it? ;)

That's a far cry from the stupid cartoon that started this.

In fairness to the government, the banking regulations put in place after the Great Depression worked pretty darned well. It worked so well that they repealed them. And liberated from oversight the financial class pursued the same doomed objectives, abetted by both Republicans and Democrats showing off their pro-business creds. It was greed, stupidity and delusion, so I get kinda tired hearing that a rising tide lifts all ships at sea. These guys will sell their mother and our kids down the river if it means a fourth quarter profit.

If you want to go back to a time when America was great --- pretty much anytime America was great — there was a higher tax on the rich than there is now.
