N is for nowledge Posted December 17, 2019 Share Posted December 17, 2019 I heard this about betts and now see aho. Won’t be signing tomorrow, both have said they are solid not taking visits..... I know betts had mentioned he needed to get some work in the classroom. By signing now do they limit options if they don’t make it academically or are there other reasons they aren’t signing? Aho may be a numbers casualty - if we end up getting some HS players that we like better, he might not have a spot in the class. 1 Quote Link to comment
Atbone95 Posted December 18, 2019 Share Posted December 18, 2019 If a player signs, he counts against the scholarship limits that coaches are allowed to sign in a class (25 + some wiggle room). Frost and his staff have made it a hard requirement that if your grades are even remotely questionable, they won't allow you to lock up a spot they can fill with an eligible player until you get things straight.
