Its not dumb by any means. If Frost is working 50 weeks a year at 60 hrs a week he is not very efficient, especially with all the staff he has. I would guess he has six or more extra staff / coaches and flies by private plane. He does short pressers after practice a couple times a week. He meets with players and staff but - frankly the organization of defense and special teams is apparently done by others as rarely has much to say about those. Film is reviewed and edited down by GAs etc Practice time is limited by NCAA. He attends other sports events for fun presumably. We should have someone calling plays that catches the other team off guard. I would hope Frost calls plays ''by committee'' to a certain extent..With input from his OC and possibly his running game coordinator. Otherwise, one person would likely tend to show trends..(My biggest worry about having someone like Lubbick as our OC because of his shared History with Frost...Maybe thinking too much alike). It would be interesting to see play calling alternated by Offensive series, quarter, or maybe just games to see what works. Seems like there are G.A.s or other helpers keeping track of what your upcoming opponent tends to call depending on down/distance/clock and adjusting their Defensive calls accordingly. I coached my sons little league team and it was an extra 18-20 hrs a week. For 4th-7th graders! My dad was a college coach in the 80-90s before all this helpful technology. He put in easily 60-70 hrs a week. You have zero, zilch, nada, niet idea of what you speak and I can’t believe I ever read one of your long winded posts thinking you had some insight lolol... it will be nice just to skip over them from now on. 2 1 Quote Link to comment

During the season maybe. On game days, Frost is doing team related activities basically all-day, and then he's back watching film bright and early on Sunday. Then it's at least 12 hours a day Monday-Friday. During the season, I can see Frost and the rest of the coaching staff putting in 80-100 hour weeks. It's probably 40-60 during the offseason, with a few weeks off where he's able to completely get away from things. Quote Link to comment
