Because their child goes to a daycare where, last week, another family's son wasn't feeling too well and showing mild symptoms that may be related to coronavirus. That family decided to get him tested, but still allowed their son to return to the daycare, even after he had been tested. On Monday, this family AGAIN allowed their son to return to the daycare. Later that morning, they received a positive test result, called the daycare and picked up their son, but not before exposing all of the children and staff to the virus for several days. Fortunately, it sounds like everyone in my friends' family is doing fine even though they haven't received their own results yet. But, still... What. The Actual.
