For a beginner I would say one slice of bread not 2, put a lil butter on it and toast it, and I mean a light buttering and then spread vegemite lightly on top, like this ...

This one is comedic (so the first video isn't helpful but funny and the second video is helpful

This video is accurate and what to do \/

I think I over did it,  no butter and bread wasnt toasted.  I'll stick with peanut butter and jelly.  Skippy super chunky and Welch's grape.Jiff is for subhumans

Nebraska has had, as far as I know, exactly one Australian player. Popplewell (?). Was on '94 team.

And I met the guy once. In Australia. I was working a temp job around 2004 when I was living in Melbourne the first time, and I found out he worked IN THE SAME OFFICE.

I got laid off after only a few weeks so I never really got the chance to know the guy.

G'Day so the title kinda says it all I am a 2nd year Cincy Uni student flying to Nebraska by myself for the Bearcats match in Nebraska and as someone who is new to the States and the game of footy I have some questions, please be fair dinkum:

1. Where is a good lively hotel area to stay preferably near some Frothy pubs(oh and preferably a hotel that has comp brekky)?

2. Is it a dry campus as far as pregaming?  If so, wheres a good pub or Bottle-O near the Uni?

3. Cool stuff to sightsee in Lincoln? (for reference I like hiking and outdoors)

4. Any Ice hockey rinks near the Uni?

5. What is the night scene like?(I plan on getting so buggered off on Friday that I barely make it Saturday)

6. What is the "tailgate" scene like?  I'm new to tailgating as its a Stateside thing, but I want a tailgate where I can walk up with an esky and some coldies, make a few friends, maybe skull a few and have a shoey.

7. What is the best area in the stadium for visitors? If it is all like back home in Straya I'll assume there's visiting sections or something

Thanks for any feedback and I hope to see a new place in a few months after this Corona stuff goes away and I plan on bringing some of my Straya cuisine with me to Lincoln(Vegemite, Fairy Bread, Tim Tams, Kangy meat).

1. The Railyard area has a Hilton, Hyatt and Marriott.

2. For O St Sandy's, Brothers, Duffy's, and Watering Hole are popular spots. (Personally I think Watering Hole has the best wings in town). For the Haymarket area, Barry's, Tavern on the Square, McKinney's and N Zone are pretty fun. If you want food, I'd say check out Lazlo's or Leadbelly. For the Railyard, it's pretty much Gate 25 or Longwell's. Just being in the open part in between is pretty fun too.

3. Ehhh...

4. There's one behind Pinnacle Bank Arena, I honestly don't know much about it.

5. It's kind of divided between O St and the Haymarket. O St is generally the college aged "I just turned 21" and Woo Girl crowd. Haymarket tends to be later 20's and up.

6. It's pretty expansive. Lots of areas all around downtown. Folks are pretty welcoming, especially if you're a visitor. You should have no problem making friends.

7. Visitors are generally clustered in the Southwestern corner.
