teachercd
Big Ten...I get it, you have your dong in your hand Just come out and say "Look, honestly we thought everyone would cancel...So we are going to play and if any big ten team doesn't want to play, that is okay." 3 1 1 Quote Link to comment

Exactly. I get the idea that maybe the p5 commissioner hush hush talk was that they were all going cancel, and then 3 didn’t. Funny how the two that did, did so on almost the same day. 2 1 Quote Link to comment

If things go horribly then we can cancel again. b) If things don't go horribly, we can probably squeeze in enough games to still do a postseason. There are 9 Saturdays in October and November. That's enough to have division champions and a championship game on Dec. 5. 2 Quote Link to comment

And fact is, college football is a business, and if your conference has a team make it to the cfp its big $$$ for the conference. If the B1G doesnt start soon enough for that to happen then who really cares if a fall season is played or not. The conference needs to wake up or we will be left behind. 2 Quote Link to comment

I count a max of 11 saturdays from 10-17-20 to Christmas. Not enough weekends to get in 12 games plus playoffs with even one week off during season and before playoff games. 1 Quote Link to comment

Considering the other conferences are going with 10 game seasons, having 12 games wouldn’t be a requirement. The Big Ten can still go with a 9 game season, along with a Big Ten title game. That would potentially get a team in the CFP, if the conference starts play by early to mid-October. 1 Quote Link to comment
